Cambodian Athletes Head to China for Asian Para Games

PHNOM PENH: On the morning of October 16, a delegation of Cambodian athletes with disabilities left Cambodia for Hangzhou, China to participate in the 4th Asian Para Games.

Cambodian athletes will compete in athletics, swimming, table tennis, volleyball, wheelchair basketball, and badminton. Of the six sports, there are two team sports: men's volleyball and women's wheelchair basketball, while the other four sports involve individual athletes.

During the hosting of the ASEAN Para Games in June 2023, Cambodia won a total of 70 medals, including nine gold, 18 silver and 43 bronze medals.
